What are dub packs?

A dub pack is a self-contained scene for The Choicer Voicer's Dub Mode, the headline feature added in version 0.5. Instead of imitating a disembodied voice clip, you watch an actual video — a movie argument, an anime fight, a cursed meme — and dub every line live into your microphone. The game mutes the original dialogue at the right moments, listens to your performance, and the computer judges score how close you land. It's the closest thing to being a contestant on a demented voice-acting game show, which is exactly the point.

Technically, each dub pack is just a folder: an OGV video file, one audio clip per spoken line, and an INI metadata file that maps the timeline — when each line starts, who says it, and when the game should open your mic. That simplicity is why the format exploded. Dub Mode only launched in 0.5, and the community has already published well over a thousand dub packs on GameBanana — 970 of them are indexed on this site right now, and new ones land every single day.

Where to download dub packs

The one and only source you should use is GameBanana's Choicer Voicer section, where creators upload their packs themselves. This site is an index of that section: every card in our pack directory links straight to the pack's official GameBanana page, so downloads always come from the author — with their name attached and the download count going to them. Avoid re-uploaded bundles on random file-sharing sites; they strip credit and sometimes bundle things you don't want.

The developer of The Choicer Voicer, YeahMaybe, also published nine free meme dub packs on the official itch.io page — classics like Big Bill Hell's, I'm At Soup and Burger King Foot Lettuce — and has explicitly allowed reuploading them. They're the fastest way to fill a fresh install with proven party material.

How to install dub packs

The short version:

1. Download the pack ZIP from its GameBanana page.
2. Extract it — you want a folder containing a video file and audio clips.
3. Drop that folder into the game's dub folder (it sits next to packs_voice; regular voice packs go there instead).
4. Restart the game, enter Dub Mode, and pick the scene from the list.

What makes a good dub pack?

After watching which packs actually get downloaded and replayed, a pattern emerges. The best dub packs are short — one to three minutes, with players on GameBanana openly calling anything past four minutes boring. They're built from scenes people already quote: famous fights, meme rants, sitcom blow-ups. And they balance their lines, alternating short barks with longer speeches so nobody at the party sits silent through a monologue.

If that sounds like a scene you have in mind, making your own pack is genuinely approachable — the developer describes pack-making as "as easy as dropping audio files into a folder", and a dub pack only adds a video and a timing file on top. Dub packs vs. voice packs

Don't confuse the two formats. Dub packs are video scenes for Dub Mode (0.5+); voice packs are the older audio-only format — judges, hosts, contestants and menu voices that go in the packs_voice folder.
